Who accredits us, and for what
An accreditation body accredits a certification body for named standards and named sectors. So the question that matters is whether our accreditation covers your standard and your industry. This page sets out both, and how to check them against ANAB's and EIAC's own directories.

ANAB — ANSI National Accreditation Board

United States accreditation body and an IAF member, accrediting our management system certification activity to ISO/IEC 17021-1. This is what makes a Viscount certificate recognizable outside the region.
International recognition
IAF — International Accreditation Forum
Not an accreditation of Viscount, but the arrangement through which both ANAB and EIAC are mutually recognized. It is the mechanism by which a certificate issued in Dubai is accepted internationally.

The UAE national accreditation body and a member of the International Accreditation Forum. EIAC accreditation is what most UAE government and semi-government tenders ask for by name.
How to check this yourself
Every IAF member accreditation body publishes a searchable directory of the bodies it accredits, with the scopes attached. Look us up in ANAB's and EIAC's directories and confirm that your standard and your sector both appear before you appoint us. The same check works on any certification body you are considering.
A certificate carries no international recognition if the body that issued it is absent from its claimed accreditor's directory, or if that accreditor is not an IAF signatory. The logos printed on the certificate make no difference to this.
